On 21st May QMC’s Learning Hub was packed with staff, students and family to see Bobby Ladhams presented with this years L A Nutt Award.
The award is made annually in remembrance of Mr L A Nutt, a Trustee of the Foundation, to a pupil of Queen Mary’s College who is deemed to have shown resilience and courage in their pursuit of education.
Ali Foss (Principal) presented Bobby with his award and Ian Lockett (one of Bobby’s Tutors) spoke of how it had been a pleasure to teach the ‘most hardworking student he had ever met’. He also praised Bobby for his ‘unfailing commitment to his study and his ability to bring a smile to the face of everyone he meets’.
